She's finally here!!!!!

Took delivery of her on Thursday. After getting a lot of good info and suggestions from numerous members on this great forum, I went with the Blizzard Pearl Base V6 with the tech package. First thing I did was to get rid of the stock 17's and went with 20's all around. Here's a couple pics from yesterday at the park.

Thanks to all who contributed to help me make an informed decision.

And thank you for recommending that I do NOT get the Navi as this saved me a few thousand bucks.

Very nice! I think you're going to really enjoy it. Any plans on mods to the interior or exterior?

As of now, it's just the rims. The pictures don't really do them justice, as they are much nicer in person.

Not really sure what else to mod, as the vehicle is pretty nice the way it is. Was thinking of getting a cold air kit, but it's Highlander and not a Mustang or Corvette.

How true! Well, at a basic level--so to speak--you could replace the OEM filter with a better performing filter, and then there's always the useless charcoal filter that can be removed. Anything to help your baby breath easier....

Thanks!!!

At first, I was going to go with the stock 19's, but the dealer wanted $3,200 for rims and tires, plus $150 to mount the tires.

I got this larger set for half that amount.

I was just gonna say that... !!! my 19's look better than aftermarket.. lov them ...
Aftermarket rims tend to give problems with the time.. poor quality bending , peeling off, etc.. I'v had many rims in the past in previous cars and just dont pay off as having nice oem's...

WHY didn't you get the Venza 20's rims? deff look better

To each their own and you're entitled to you opinion. like the old saying goes, opinions are like azzholes, everyone has one.

I didn't like the oems because of the weird widths. 19x7.5??? And I didn't want what everyone else had...

The rims only look smaller due to the polished lip they have, any rim with a lip is going to look smaller when compared to a wheel with no lip at all.

Enjoy the new truck man, I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

I use my phone for the few times I use the navigation anyway... I'll save that $2000 for more important things like a vacation or ammunition.

Who wants OEM cheese when you can have something that actually looks good and sets off the vehicle (and doesn't look like every other sheep).

I've had dozens of sets of aftermarket wheels on cars over the years and haven't ever experienced any of the "quality problems" you mention. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess you never bought a set of wheels aftermarket and are going by what "some guy" said... Either that or you bought a cheapo deluxe set and expected miracles.

Quality aftermarket wheels are no different in quality than OEM wheels. Some are even better.
