2011 Highlander LED tail/brake lights?

Hi there!

Less than three hours ago saw brand new 2011 Highlander on the road with bright... LED tail/brake lights! Seemed like not self made.

Want it so much on my car...

Can anyone tell me is it possible to find somewhere that LED version to order?

that fits 08-10 highlanders... I don't know if it fits 2011 highalnders. Otherwise its self-made as that's the only aftermarket LED taillight kit that I know of. Its on ebay

I saw this one before, but it seems pretty much different than that was on road. Something like:

* * * * * * *
.* * * * * *
* * * * * * *

* - red LEDs

must have been a custom job, I don't know of any that look like that, or maybe a LED bulb in the regular reflector housing. Besides that I'm clueless as to what it was

You sure they were actually LEDs? The '11 HL's have those tailights that are trying to look LED, but really aren't...from directly behind I'm sure a lot of people think they are actually LED. Maybe this guy just bought brighter bulbs?

I have the eBay LED's on my '10...love them, they should have come from the factory that way. I really don't understand Toyota's current trend of removing LED's on their new models. The previous generation Camry, 4Runner, HL hybrid, all had LED tailights. Why not the new ones?

100% sure. I can distinguish stock lamps and LEDs :-) Even there was direct bulbs replacement ,-)

Toyota Avensis T27 came out with LED tail lights in 2009, but Toyota Camry V50 hasn't LED in 2011

LEDs cost more.
There also isn't an easy replacement plan when they burn out or fade.

I know the Hybrid HL comes with LED taillights, maybe that's what you saw?

The first gen hybrid came with them.

Anything 08 and up never got them, hybrid or not.
