Daughter's "NEW" 08 Highlander Sport

Another new Toyota owner.

My daughter and son in law just bought this 08 Highlander Sport with a whopping 17K on the clock. I'm a fanatic about condition and I can't find a mark on it anywhere (even under the hood) except for a spot where the rear bumper had a scratch touched up. It belonged to an elderly gentleman and looks new inside and out.

I think they did very well.

How many $$, and are the black swishy lines on the doors a factory thing?

The stripes are some dealer added thing I believe. Paid 20K.

$20k from a dealer or private party? Black interior?

It would look better without the stripes.

Stripes aren't my call. They bought the car from the Nissan dealer where it was traded in.

That would explain why it was only $20k. Still a good deal though.

Thanks everybody. They are quite happy with it.

No need for anything AWD here. Central and South Texas! Not exactly ice and snow country.

You actually need to have precipitation for snow and ice....kind of meant half humorously, half not. That drought from Hell has got to suck!

Great deal, especially for a sport!! I paid $19.2k for a base, w/ leather, blutooth, compass mirror back in June. Had 38k miles.

Nice! How about the interior? Is it leather seats? Well maintained too?

Interior is gray cloth and looks showroom new. Leather is not an option a lot of people get here due to the nuclear hot Summers. One fried leg is enough to convince most people.

TD... we need rain desperately. We are literally 30 inches behind and in a severe drought.
