Sta-bil treated gas okay for 2011 HL?

Is there any problem with using fuel in my 2011 HL that has been treated with Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer?

I have a 30-gal fuel container with a hand-crank pump that I keep at various levels of fullness for things like mowers, tractors, snowblower, generator, etc. It contains regular unleaded treated with Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer.

When the situation is such that I'm not using as much fuel as anticipated (i.e. predicted apocolyptic snow storm blows over), is there any problem with simply pumping this fuel into my 2011 HL?

There should be no ill effect. I have a home generator and store gas, keeping it for a year then putting it in my cars and buying new gas. Last two times I put it into my Highlander, and the umpteen times before that put it into my Avalon with no ill effect. I also called the Sta-Bil company directly and asked them about that, and they were adamant that no ill effects will occur after one year.

BTW, here's another tip they offered me over the phone. If you double up on Sta-Bil "dosage" you can consequently double the storage time. I just did that this year to make the storage thing easier.

It is fine. I'd recommend the fuel being no more than a year old, but I've used year old fuel in vehicles that has sta-bil in it and never had any issues (originally bought for my boat).

Thanks for the input. I figured it would be okay but it never hurts to get a few second opinions. I doubt the gas will ever get more than 6-months old.
