Stock Navigation DVD player not accepting Navi Disc

So I accidentally ejected the Navi disc on my 08 Highlander and when I tried to load it back in, the player just makes a clicking noise and ejects the disc. Any help will be greatly appreciated guys and gals.

Silly question - is the DVD clean? No dust, dirt, fingerprints etc?

Make sure the disc is label side up and and insert it parallel to the screen and far in enough to let the navi grabs the disc... I did have a little bit of hard time when I played with it the first time because the mouth placement is so low to the screen...
