Ipod interface

I am considering installing an iPod interface and adding their HD tuner by iSimple. I have a 2008 Sport with factory navigation. They said that I may need an extra kit if it has a "diversity antenna"

Has anybody else installed one of these and know if it does have a diversity antenna. Both the manf. and retailer say the radio has to be pulled to check. I find it hard to believe Toyota made the factory NAV head unit two different ways.

Any help is much appreciated. I am doing this myself and do not want to have to pull the radio out twice.

Thanks

I ended up putting in one by USA-Spec. Took me about 40 minutes and was a lot easier than I thought. I watched a video on YouTube on how to remove the radio

Do you have built in NAV? If not, what's it look like without?

I have a 2008 with the factory Nav. I wish it had text, but works well without it. I'm able to change tracks and volume from the steering wheel. The iPod stays out of sight in the glove box
