Converting a power socket to always hot

Find the fuse for the socket you want and jump and connect it to an always hot spare with two 10amp fuses. It may drain your battery FYI but I love it.

I'd disconnect it when you go to the dealership for anything though. They may give you grief!

PS. Sorry for the typo on topic line. Mods, feel free to correct it!

Nicely done. I always leave my stuff plugged into the 12v outlet (usb power adapter and cell charger up front and power inverter in trunk.) I would definitly drain my battery if I did that Simple and effective modification

I did this mod on my Rav4, but instead I made a jumper wire where the relay was, and it worked perfect. While I wish I could take credit for that, I cannot. The idea came from another forum. If I knew where the relays are in the HL, I would do it again.
