2011 vs 2012

i was looking in buying the weathertech digitalfit floor liners from autoaccessories.com but they didnt have the 2012, only the 2011. I have a 2012 highlander SE and in need of floor mats. I didnt want to purchase the 2011 and not knowing if it fit the 2012.

Are the floor mats for the 2011 and 2012 the same?

Yes, they are the same. Both model years are identical.

Yeah 2011 anf 2012 are identical, perhaps weathertech posted those on their site before the 2012 model was availble and never bothered to update!!?

Weathertech $165 + tax (Cdn)
OEM $110 + tax (Cdn)

The OEM fits very well and permits the 3rd row seat to be put up without having to remove the tray. The tray is held to the back of the 3rd row seat back so when it's up, the tray is held in place instead of flopping over.

I have the Weathertech laser cut fit for my 2011 LTD. Absolutely fantastic mats. Wouldn't use anything else now.

I looked at the 2012 brochure and on toyota accessory page under the highlander. Its the same as the one I got (I got a 2011 OEM one for my 08). It looks like a darker black, but that's probably because its new and mine was kinda worn/used when I took my picture. The overall design of the grooves, splits, and highlander emblem look the exact same though

from brochure:

From Accessories page on toyota.com:

Mine:

I doubt they changed the mat if the car didn't change (model, not mid-cycle refresh).

and for what its worth....

I got that Highlander OEM liner that looks exactly the same as the weathertech liner above except with a Toyota name instead of weathertech. I got it for free when we bought a 2011 Rav4 for the wife about two months ago. I thought I would have to remove it when I want to use my third row seats but the liner is flexible enough and there is no need to remove it or store it away.
