right now i have the SE 17" rims that has warranty for flats, curbage etc. and was wondering if I was to purchase the 2012 19" limited wheels would that be covered by toyota's warranty too?
I would doubt it. I purchased a set of winter wheels/tires from my dealer and paid for a complete warranty but it "only" applies to that set.. and only on that vehicle. It "could" be part of the deal though.. but get it in writing

At least here in Canada, accessories and parts are covered under the full auto warranty if they are included in the car purchase contract ie. you buy them as part of the car purchase and they are listed on the purchase contract. Otherwise, parts/accessories bought separately come with their own respective warranty, whatever that may be.

The 4 year Toyota road hazard cost me 99.80 (Cnd). My total bill (including taxes and disposal fees)for wheels, TPM sensors and Michelin Latitude X-ice Xi2 tires was $1931.55

Toyota is not going to warranty something you bought elsewhere...I don't know of any company that will to be honest.
OEM rims are EXPENSIVE, they usually run $300 a piece easily, and that's not including tires, either. $2000 is about right for a brand new OEM set of rims and tires.

That's why so few people buy OEM, it's ridiculously cheaper to buy aftermarket, and IMO, some aftermarket rims are a higher quality than OEM (and better looking, too.).
