Ipod Interface

I just installed an Ipod interface adapter on my 2008 w/NAV. The only think I don't like is you have to play the ipod at a higher volume than you do the radio. I was wondering if anybody else experienced the same thing.

I used the PA15TOY for Auto-Spec. The best part is that the ipod stays in the glove box and I can control everything from the steering wheel controls. The whole job took me about 45 minutes

USB interface or a 3.5mm cable from headphone jack to dash? If the 3.5mm cable, then yes, the volume is lower than AM/FM/CD. Toyota's choice on gain.

I added added a 3.5mm interface to my '02 HL's head unit. Got to set the interface gain myself (internal to head unit). iPod plays same volume as rest of sources.

Yes, there was a larger difference when using the AUX jack. So far, the JBL system has been the only dissapointment I have had with mine. The Bose system I had in my 2002 Denali was a lot more "crisp"
