Do you need help with the purchase, the install, or both?

Take a look at the detailed taillight removal instructions in the Modifications & Maintenance sticky thread, that should contain the information you need for the install.

My thoughts exactly. Hopefully the OP can post which insurance company he is with so nobody else gets insurance from a company that does not offer accident coverage.

I don't know what insurance company the original poster had, but the tipoff is that he crashed his(or his wife's car) into someone else. In that case, the person who got hit sues you(or your insurance company) and your basic liability policy covers it. What it DOESN'T cover is the damage to your own car UNLESS you also have collision insurance. Most states require you to have the liability insurance but not the optional collision insurance.

also in many cases, fixing that tail light is cheaper than paying the deductible and the rate hike.
