USA Console Vault/Safe for Highlanders?

Anyone come across a locking center console/hidden safe solution for the Highlander?

I would LOVE to get a console vault, but apparently they only make them for Sequoia/Tundra.

Backup plan will be a locking stash-box, but prefer something installed/bolted to vehicle and out of sight from exterior of vehicle (tons of those on the market).

Based on your needs, let me throw something out to you that's coming off the top of my head. You might consider installing a vault/lock box in the center console storage bin that's accessible from the 2nd row. Not only is it not necessary to lug that center seat unit around (I don't, and use that bin for extra storage), but that bin is also DEEP. Perhaps you could mount a safe/lock box at the bottom of it and can still use the upper section of it for storage, any items of which would help conceal the safe if someone was ransacking the Highlander. Food for thought.

This has many uses and could bolt to the bottom.

I was at Fry's the other day and came across this locking box manufactured by Vaultz. I checked the measurements and it fits nicely in the Highlander's center console, and it may be possible for you to bolt the unit in place. Food for thought.

I saw this one at a local store and confirmed that the mounting box would fit in the extra seat storage compartment under the center console. They also make a slightly smaller version. I am not sure what the best way to mount this would be but it looks like a good candidate for a small car-mounted safe.

Thanks for the replies (I didn't receive notices that responses had been posted, just happened to check in today...)

I picked up one of the travel sized gunvault (I have the nightstand gunvault and like its quality, so figured I would get another product from them)...

It's travel/TSA approved for when the need arrises, but will hold me over until I come up with a better solution for in the vehicle.

I saw one of these at the show recenly:

Awesome design/quality, haven't measured yet, but I believe it will be too large for highlander...

You might be able to mount something that size in the rear cargo storage bin though.
