2011 Limited AWD. When stopping in gear at cold, the car is loud. No sinigicant noise when putting on neutral or park or idling after warmup. The noise occurs when the rpm is around 900. Noticed some similar discussions in the "Strong Vibrations at Cold Start" thread, but nobody reported a solution. Anybody got the similar poblems before and has it fixed?
I got the same problem for my 2012 V6 SE. asked on the "Strong Vibrations at Cold Start" thread as well. But no good solution from anyone. Pls let me know if you have any progress. Have you talked with dealership and let the car stay overnight for them to check?

Hey guys! New to the forum. I just thought i would check this out because I just had this problem solved in my 2012 Highlander! Mine would make noise, especially in the cold, whenever I pressed on the breaks, or slowed down....etc. anyways- this can be fixed! It turns out there is a new valve that is offered by Toyota for this specific problem! My dealership brought in the part for me and I got my car back yesterday-no more noise. Then, today is was about 30 degrees when i woke up...drove my highlander all day and NO NOISE! This was driving me crazy and I really hope this post helps one of you guys! I has a water leak, a loose hood cable and now this problem and i was starting to lose hope, but now that everything has been fixed, I am back on cloud 9. If anyone needs more info, I can try and find the paperwork I got back from the dealership and type exactly what it says. Good luck guys!
