trailer hitch wiring

I'm trying to wire up my 96 Tacoma for towing. Aside from white, which wires do the brown, green and yellow go to?

Aside from the white being the ground wire, Yellow/brown go to driver's side trailer lights, while green/brown go to the passenger side trailer lights. The brown wire runs your running lights(tail, side markers), and the green/yellow is your stop/blinker lights. Hope this helps.

ive always wondered how you can run a trailer setup on a toyota with how toyotas are wired, them having separate wires for turn filaments, separate from the brake filaments

the trailer would ahve to have seperate turn and stop filaments wouldnt it ?

what do you do ?

yes...you can do it the hard way and install extra lights on your trailer or

you can take the easy route and go buy an adapter at pepboys or even your local u-haul...just specify that you have a toyota.

the adapter makes makes for easy hook up0---------which i think they are talking about already

Brake lights aren't broken, I just don't brake.
