HELP!! 94 4x4 stiff ride after pro-comp stage 2 lift
I installed a stage 2 pro-comp lift on my truck with 15x8 M/T and 32's earlier this year. I noticed that the ride is extremely stiff for me. My friend said that's how its supposed to be, but i don't like it.
I'm thinking of changing the shocks that came with the lift (Pro Comp ES3000) to the Pro Comp MX6 6-way adjustables. Do you think that will solve my problem or should i change other things like removing the rear block and putting in a 4" lift rear spring or upgrading the front torsions?
the torsions MIGHT be cranked up a little, but not much as the a-arms look almost flat. The thing is that the rear is also extremely stiff. Stiff to the point where i can't even burn rubber - the rear end just bounces off the ground and just chirps.
hmm it might be your shocks i have a buddie with a shocks so stiff that speed bumps are a pain but he says that his truck is smooth at high speed on rough roads. But the shocks shouldnt be bad so fast. You should get some new rear leafs for me i just dont like the look of blocks. Im sorry i really cant be too much of a help im not to good with lifts. Oh yeah almost forgot welcome to TN and welcome fellow islander.

yeah, i think i'm gonna change the shocks. speed bumps are killer for me too but so is going off road.
are the rear leafs, add a leaf or packs? get packs instead, but other than that the shocks wont help much. its a suspension lift, it will be stiff. my truck jumps speed bumps so i dont want to hear any complaining.
