For Canadian Toyota owners trying to cross US/Canadian border

After Sept 11,2001 many Canadian had difficulty in crossing through the US/CDN border so I suggest Canadian Toyota owners read this:

Under the Privacy Act now you can have personal information about you from any government agency/bureau/corporation/etc disclosed to you as it’s your right to know what info the government has on you (good or bad). Note: unless you did not work or interact with a particular department I doubt that there will be a personal information file, for a list of all governments (crowns) agencies/bureaus/corporations etc:

http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/gos-sog/ati...ds/index_e.asp

and forms to download:

http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/tbsf-fsct/350-58_e.asp

or the direct links:

http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/tbsf-fsct/dwnld/350-58_e.pdf

Remember this personal info can help or harm when applying for a job at that particular crown entity or dealing with a particular gov bureau therefore it’s your right to see if the material is wrong or miss-interpreted. A good example is trying to cross the US/Canadian border after Sept 11, 2001 or applying for a job that requires security bonding/clearance like Casino, Brinks Security, Diamond industry, government security clearance jobs, and more. The personal information the Police (RCMP) keeps on every Canadian in their computer database/records) is at:

PRIS=Police Information Retrieval System (complaints, victim, suspect, witness info)
CPIC=Canadian Police Information Center (criminal background check/bond security clearance factor & all of your life’s history)

The above two databases can be retrieved by filling out the Privacy Act request forms and mailing them to the below address:
