Unhappy tick in engine

Hi,
I have a '96 4runner and have noticed a ticking sound around the vaccum box in the engine compartment. It started about a week ago. Can anybody help me on this? Oh also, where could I buy cheap bumper for this, there's a ding on it and would like to change. Thanks in advance.

Is the ticking noise a rapid ticking? does it only tick between a certain RPM band (such as 1600-2000 RPMS)? it might be a vacuume leak... but I'm not sure

Trent, thanx for the reply. I actually do not hear it from the inside, it's only when i'm outside and checking the engine is when i hear it and yes it's a fast ticking. so i wouldn't know if it's between those rpms that you specified. is there a way to check if there's a leak? something i could do at home would be a better choice than dealer. thanx
