Unhappy Whre's My Tacoma Spark Plugs?

I have a 2001 Tacoma, and when I popped the hood I noticed there were no spark plugs! Just little Black modular things that appears to be an encapsulated electronic component. I have the four banger SR-5 model. Any Ideas? How do these things deliver spark?

there's probably some kind of cover on them.. follow the wires from the Cap to the engine.

Don't you have a manual for the car? Or is this kind of thing not included in the manual!

that truck comes with individual coil pack. It has four coils, one for each cylinder, meaning that truck doesn't come with spark plug wires. It has the coil and the wire built in together. So does modular things you see on top of the valve cover is the actual coil and under it is the wire.
