NO bs’ing about gaskets Fel-pro?

Ok, so I have a 90 Toyota 22R 4X4 and I installed a rebuilt motor in it and experienced problems with water getting into the oil. So took it all back apart but didn’t find any reason why it was leaking, the head gasket piled into two parts one stuck to the head the other to the block. So I am serious about getting a good gasket this time.

So what is your input on fel-pro? I have heard a lot of good things about them but is it as good as a rol gasket? What materials work the best? Steel core laminate? Or another type?

So any help would be great thanks!!!

From all of the reading I have done on the 60 or so Toyota 4-Runner/pickup dedicated discussion sites in the past 6 years I have come to the conclusion that these are the best Toyota engine parts to buy:

The best brand of aftermarket timing chain parts & engine parts to use on the 20R & 22R series Toyota motors are:

http://www.22r.biz
http://www.rpmrons.com/toyotatiming.html
http://www.toyota-engine-parts.com
http://www.europeanautomotive.com

and if you choose to buy from Toyota these places have the best prices in the USA & probably the whole world:
