New York Off-Roading

Does anyone know of any locations in Southern NY or the surrounding area where you can go off-roading?

yea maybrook if you know where interstate 84 is go to exit 5 maybrook,walden if you are coming from the east bound side make a left at the end of the ramp and about a quater mile down theres a road pretty much across the street from a hess station you will see the trail from there there are lots of trails and there all of them are nice and wide. ive been there a few times and still havent seen all the trails. Also if you ride quads or dirt bikes this is a great place to go.

im just confused, is it in maybrook or walden?
Id be coming west from 87 since im in rockland

the exit 5 sign says maybrook/walden i dont know why but thats what it says. i never got off the westbound ramp but just look for the hess station and if you cant find it ask in the hess station or theres a irish bar all within a quater mile from the exit ramp. if you ask anywhere after you get off they will know what trails your looking for.
