What engine do you have and how much you wanna spend?

Pick any 2:

1. Cheap
2. Reliable
3. Fast

I got some snake oil fer yur tank

There are things to do to make the engine more efficient but most of them are rather involved. This is a good link www.4x4wire.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=820891&page=0&view=collap sed&sb=5&o=all&fpart=1.

Probably the top things to consider are freeing up the exhaust flow and cutting down on intake restriction.

If you have a manual transmission it is not that hard to remove some weight from the flywheel. The backside an be machined to get nearly 5lbs off of it, of course it will need to be balance afterward . This is enough to make a good seat of the pants increase but would not be good if you are into 4-wheelin.

depending on the way your truck is used a lower final drive ratio will give it more grunt, but it sacrifices top end and fuel economy
