New Tundra or Tacoma

Hello I have been on this forum for a while now just looking at all the great info. I have a big question to ask. I have the oppurtunity(dad) to buy eathier a 4 door Tacoma 06 or a 2 door 07 Tundra. I am leaning towards the tundra personally. I not be taking this truck on any extreme off-roading except for mud etc. I LOVE the new engine in the Tundra which is making me lean more towards it. I was just wondering if I could have some of your inputs as to what your choices would be. THX in Advance

Smile New Tundra is awesome

I just came back from driveing the o7 Tundra and all I have to say is "AWESOME" All the technology that is in that truck is unbeliebable. Chevy and Ford better just sit back and let em take over first place. They can never catch them with 30 year old engines and transmissions. I intend to buy one just as soon as the crew cab is out. So I guess you know my vote os for the Tundra

I have a DC 4WD Taco (06). I like it alot. Get the DC if you need to haul more than 1 passenger. If you need to haul/tow more stuff, consider the Tundra. Also factor the MPG differences. I use mine to haul my family, a few hunting buddies and hunting/outdor gear. It does everything I need it to, that is why I got the Tacoma.

I agree, I just test drove a new 2007 Toyota Tundra also. The power is amazing. I have a 2003 2500hd right now, but I plan on trading it in. What kinda gas milage have people been getting?

Thanks!

I wonder if they are going to come out with a tacoma looking hood (ram air?) for the new tundra.. I think that would really make it look mean!
