Hola....

Hello....new here.....but not new to vehicles. I have always had a jeep and sometimes have had a truck. I had a 75/76 CJ-5 when I was younger but it caught fire and is currently my project....then had a crappy ass truck and now have a '97 Jeep Wrangler that I have built beyond street driving.
I really like Tacomas but I need something that will pull a trailer with my jeep on it. I was wondering what options I have here. Most of the Tacomas I see only have V-6.....do they offer V-8's or diesel? Any other recommendations?

Thanks,

Jeremy

i have been using my lifted jeep to pull a boat

Since the bra e pads are south on the truc I have used my 98wrangler to pull the boat. It may be just as good if not better than the tacoma. i have a Teraflex 3inch lift,33inch tires,Rancho 9000 shoc s.

Yeah.....I have a frankenstein lift on the jeep....mostly Tera though. I am fixing to go bigger and dont want to be driving it on the street....looking for something that gets better mileage and is more practical.

Hey Jeremy,
Welcome to TN. Sorry about the lack of warm welcomes. The truck section is kinda slow.

If you're looking for a V8, you might have to open your wallet up to a Tundra.

The tacoma comes with the 6? What is the TRD? Just a suspension package?
