Question tacoma double cab specs

i'm in the market to buy this truck. i got a quote for a double cab, 4x2, v6, limited edition. another dealership told me they don't make a 4x2 limited edition. is this true? the price quote was $21,400 before taxes and a $750 rebate at longo toyota. is this a deal? also tell me some of the obvious negatives and positives. the truck i ordered is coming in a few days. thanks a lot.

Its a good deal you've got if it is V6 with TRD offroad.
Got my truck last week for a few hundreds more.

My first week experience with this truck is negative.
- Lots of road noise and wind noise at 50mph+.
- Engine noise is too obvious for a V6 at 2000rpm.
- Uncomfortable, cheap seats.
- The automatic shift lever is located closer to the radio rather than to the driver. You have to stretch your arm out to reach it.
- Steering wheel is a bit too close to the dashboard relative to leg room, can not find a best seat adjustment.
- Very stiff suspension. Bouncing too much on highway, if you have a bad back, you will feel very sorry. Not comfortable to drive on any long trip.
- Low gas mileage.

I hate to say it but its a truck = more road noise, harsh supension, coupled with the fact its a compact truck= less room.

hey i like the hard ride of a truck since my parents been driving me in the smooth rides of a lexus since i was born, so i like the change

also, the Tundra is too big for me, scared to crash since ive drove a sequoia for about 3 months

go with the Tundra....

Imagine that, i have one posted for sale in another thread.
Honestly, i have had both and can honestly say the Tundra is much nicer all around. This is my 4th Toyota truck dating back to the mid-80's models. You think the Tacoma is uncomfortable, step into a single cab 87 Toyota pickup with vinyl bench seat. A Tacoma is like a Lexus compared to that.

I wish i didn't have to sell.......but wife and kids want car.

I just got my 04 tacoma 4x2 v6 TRD, color matched, and convenience package with the sliding rear window last week for $20,900+ttt.

btw...with the TRD package the rides gonna be a lot stiffer. before I got the one I got I test drove a non TRD and the ride was not as stiff.

Also mine is super quiet, I don't know what the deal is with yours manuahc, but i can't even hear the engine at any RPM's and also I don't hear any wind or road noise at any MPH. It's been a positive for me so far.
