Angry help! loss of power

First my 86 toyota pick up EFI loss a lot of power and can not set timming right. I did set my TDC with ignition crank shaft all align but when I move the ignition to try to reach the O mark only makes it to the 5 mark and my truck loosses all power. I had to set my timing way beyond these marks to have a little low end power. My top end is completely loss a can bearly pass 60mph. I have try timing, valve clearance, TPS and still no results. Any other advise. As now I,m not very happy with my truck but I like it? Thanks for any advise

I'm wondering if you've got a bad timing belt. Not meaning to insult but just in case you don't know, the timing belt is what turns your camsaft and in turn your distributor. If this has jumped a tooth it could easily cause the problems you describe. I suggest you check it out.
Let us know.
