You will need to find out the dimensions of both sets of rims....current and the ones you want. If, for example, your current rims are 17" in diameter and these are 15", the new ones might not clear your brake calipers. Also, you need to know the lug pattern and count on your current rims. You also might try to get a set with close to the same backspacing as your current rims so that they dont rub parts of the suspension.

Pulling a tire and measuring them both will be the easiest. For backspacing....lay the tire face down (so that the inside of the tire and rim is pointing up). Using a flat edge that is resting on the upper lip of the rim (not touching the tire) measure the the back onf the mounting surface....that is backspacing. The more the backspacing the less your tires stick out.

As for the bolt pattern....count the number of bolt holes first, then measure the distance between the centers of two of the holes. You will get measurements such as 5x4.5" (read as 5 bolt holes..4.5" apart)

Hope this helps.

i just bought a 82 pickup , and when i took the wheels off there were about ten washers on each bolt spacing the wheels out because they were rubbing, i think on the tie rod ends. Are these just the wrong wheels or what, because i took the wheels off of my other toyota and they rubbed also.

Sounds like you need wheels with less backspacing.

Either that, or the tires on the truck are too wide.
