Late 80s/ early 90s 4-Runner vs FJ60/62?
Any pros and/or cons toward one or the other for off-road trips? I doubt that I'll ever start climbing rocks, or fjording deep water streams, but I would like a very capable, and dependable off road vehicle. I like the FJ-60/62s, especially since they are old enough that their prices are now within my range.
Are they worth the slightly extra expense, as compared to a 4-Runner of that era? Are the parts too hard to find as compated to the 4Runner? Off road performance? I know the Land Cruiser is supposed to be Toyota's "Caddy" of off-road vehicles. Are they better trail vehicles?
