Angry no start when cold

I have 22re EFI and in the mornings or whenever the engine has cool down the truck would not start it will take at least 15 times to start some times even more. Can anybody help me here. Spark plugs, wires, rotor and cap are a few months old. Clean the throttle body and change the air filter. After the truck starts and warms up it runs fine.

Experiencing similar problems here too. Have 90 3.0 efi 4x4 auto pickup. Cold starts are a pain usually have to crank 2-3 times to start. Thought it was cold start injector, tested with ohm meter per repair manual, tested fine. Took it to repair shop they blamed it on the time switch which I believe is screwed into thermostat housing or close by. Haven't looked yet to see exact location, has a plug on it like injectors do. Cold start injector is on passenger side of engine, if your engine is efi it is in aluminum housing right in the middle on the passenger side. Problem still persist with cold starts being a pain, tech said my fuel pump is working spuratically, he did put a pressure gauge on the system and said it is holding pressure. I am also experiencing a stall at 3500rpm, merging on interstate accelerating tach goes to 3500rpm then drops to 3200-3300rpm then pull right back up and acceleratates fine after that. Any suggestions before I go tearing into the gas tank?
