Damn.........and how the hell did you flip the ball joints inside the knuckle??

Did you use some kind of beveled insert or something?

That is a pretty slick ride......I am usually into lifted vehicles, but I appreciate seeing custom vehicles. Good work!

Also, that's a helluva cooler on the front.........what's it for?

Flipping ball joints actually mean relocating them from to lower arms to the upper arms resulting in a 3in drop for Tacomas.

The intercooler in the front is for the turbo. It cools the hot charged air coming from the turbo to help prevent detonation which kills engines.

not a big fan of the rims for a truck, but that is a nice friggin truck. which engine does it have, the 5VZ, or the 4-cylinder, whatever it is? i've been wanting to drop a 5VZ in my 90 camry for a while, but first i hafta figure out a way to get it to start so i cn bring it home, i'ts stuck at my aunt's house

It has the 2RZ 4cyl. (2.4)

It's actually the 2nd motor on the truck. I blew up the first one drag racing @ Fontana, CA. I ran it @ 12psi without properly adjusting the Vortec FMU to supply enough fuel. The motor detonated severly killing the #2 cylinder Still ran a 15.10 @ 92mph.
