Hiya, New here and have/will have lots of questions on toyotas.

I am shopping for a Tacoma(older model) and have not seen a tacoma single cab. with the 3.0l V6.

I am thinking about a TRD s/c but dont want an ext cab.

What gives?

Tacomas started coming out in 1995.5. Previous to 95.5, they were just called a pickup, or mini truck. The 3.4L is only available with the tacomas and therefore, you can only get the SC with the 3.4L. Nobody makes a supercharger for the 3.0L and nobody wants to run one either because of the bad headgaskets.

I'm pretty sure you can get a 3.4L single cab tacoma, but I'm not too informed about the tacomas.

true, but that's for the 1mz, tacoma's never came in 1mz. i didn't know they had a 3Lv6 though. whcih engine does it use?

this is interesting, cuz i was thinking of doing a 3.4L 5vz swap into my camry. if the 3L that it uses is a 3vz, then it should be almost a direct swap assuming it has proper clearnace and all.
