Angry 22re Vacuum leak!

At idle my truck whistles. I have replaced the gasket between the plenium and the intake, not the problem. Any tricks as to how to locate the problem.

put a lil dishsoap in a spray bottle w/water and spray towards the sound. the soap will bubble when the air passes through it.

Or, you can use carb cleaner (or some other highly combustible substance) and spray where you think the problem might be.....when you find the spot, the engine will either increase or decrease in RPM.

However, when you replaced the gasket on the throttle body, did you use a cork gasket or RTV??? This might be your problem if you used cork....they tend to leak.
