Tacoma Tires

Hi Folks,
I just found out tonight while reading the posts that M+S means mud and snow. I recently bought a used 2000 Tacoma pre-runner with new Medalist P265/75R15 112S M+S "All Season Trail A/P" tires. The only thing that bothers me is the C Temp rating. Does anyone have any experience with or input on these tires?
Thanks, Phil

Why are you worried with the temp rating? It doesnt get cold enough down here for anyhting to happen to them.

Jeremy,
The problem isn't with cold in the tire Temp ratings. Quite the opposite in fact. That rating refers to the ability of the tire to dissipate heat. Thus a rating of T=C is the lowest temp dissipation rating that is allowed in the U.S. But thanks for the response anyway.

Well, if you are worried about them in the summer heat, might I suggest that you check this local jeep forum:

31's are a common newbie tire size for jeeps and people are constantly getting rid of them.

BTW, where was the truck from?

What seems to be the main reason people are ditching them? If it's traction, I really don't need to be able to stick to the sides of mountains.

I believe the truck has been in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area since it was new. It was originally purchased at the same dealership I bought it from.

People are ditching them for LARGER tires.

I bet she'd sell them without those rims.
