pickup engine swap

Hi everyone,
I just found this forum, looks good I hope you can answer my question. I have seen many v8 motor swaps with Ford or Chevy v8's, with lots of parts available. I wanted to put in the 4.7L Toyota in my '88 4WD pickup that I am restoring. HAs anyone ever done this? I find it hard to believe that no one else has done this, I don't want a Chevy in my rig!
thanks,
Rob

None I just bought the truck for $200 from this guy. It has a blown engine I was going to do the swap instead of a rebuild to the 22re.

yes it is possible. but i dont know if you will be able to drop that big of a motor in there with out cutting out the fender wells. i know it is possible to put a chevy s10 v6 motor in there but thats not what u want.
