if you want to stay with a stock engine type try going to www.toyotaperformance.com they have several 22re eng to choose from. from stock to top line stroker motors and turbo kits for the 22re truck motor

yes but the 3.4, and 3.0 straight 6 and more worth while, and cost a bit less if you can do the work your self.

i have a 89 pickup 22re and i screwd up.. for some odd resone i had the ignition on while i was doing this. i wanted to put a intake cone on my intake so i remove the box, and put the cone on the end of the intake hose. didnt start. ok i kno why is the mass air sensor so i try to un plug it, the plug woulden pull out so i unscrewed the plug end when i pulled it out something shorted and sparked so i put it back together. looked at th fuse and it melted so i replace it and now it fries all the fuses i put in the efi slot and will crank but not start. this sux
