how to soften ride in DblCab??

Just bought an '02 Dbl-Cab, (w/ 30k miles) and ride is just too bouncy, just skates over bumpy freeway areas.
Suggestions for making smoother? Do all Tacomas have same rear leaf set-ups, or will a 2wd Xcab set swap in, and soften things a bit? thanks for any help.

lol my rides bouncy at times also a friend of mine suggested to replace my stock bushings he said the procedure isn't hard just time consuming or you can just get some new shocks. Just a suggestion hope it helps.

1st of all is it already lowered? and if so how much in the front or the rear? depending on how much you want to spend you can get a complete lowering kit for under $500. that includes control arms, front and rear shocks, rear blocks w/ U bolts, and leaf springs. if i were you i would get a front and back sway bar ($275 for both) to help out the handling along with the bouncy bouncy ride of most lowered pickups. lastly if you wanted try a "add a leaf" ($160 for both) which helps take stress off the back when it is lowered, it helps a ton. a few of my buddies have it on their yotas. hope that helps!
