Exclamation Lifted Trucks and the Load Sensing Proportioning Valve??

I know a lot of you out there have lifted Toyotas. I bought my 85 with a 5 inch suspension lift. While inspecting the brakes, I noticed a weird brake module/valve on the rear brakes with a bar attached from it to the rear axle. After some research, I found this to be the load sensing proportioning valve (LSPV).

Being that I have a sizeable lift on the truck, will this valve work properly?? Do lift kits come with a fix for this??

you can extend the bracket that holds the rod of cut it off (leaving a few inches) so you are able to adjust it to whatever braking power you need in the rear, on my runner I just took the RSPV off and the rears don`t lock up like some say.

I lowered my truck so it did the opposite, but i cut the rod and used a part that can lengthen and shorten depending on how much rear braking i want. The lengthening and shortening moves the valve lever up and dpwn. Pretty easy to do but hard to guess how much back brakes are actually being used. I will add a picture when it quits raining around here, everything is dirty.
