help, can't get into first with A/C on...

here's my situation, whenever i have the A/C on 1 out of 10 times i can't get into first gear easily. This happened after i had the a/c compressor and dryer replaced at 199,000 miles. I took it back to that replaced my A/C. They told me it might be my slave cylinder. so i replace the slave cylinder (with OEM part) myself and bleed the clutch. Still no dice. My car is a '93, v6, xtracab, 4x4 with 201,xxx miles. any suggestions?

My guess is that the A/C is not related to the problem. I would check the master cylinder and the clutch.

how can i test to see if the clutch master cylinder is working properly? And if it is clutch related i'm gonna bring it back to my mechanic to check... even though i dislike having other people work on my car...

If the pedal will move still slowly when you have fully disengaged the clutch, that would tell me the one of the cylinders is faulty. good luck
