Tacoma ignition timing

What is the procedure for checking the ignition timing on a 2003 Tacoma, 2.4l?

I dont think that you can change timing on that year taco, it has a coil over plug system, the ecu controls all timing based on load, maf, tps, ect, iat, my '99 has no timing adjustment
