Stop the pxckkk 1990 3.0 V6 head gasket leak.

Its a 1990 4X4 3.0 V6. Its had 2 blown gaskets. Is there a way to fix the head gasket? The last time we used the recall gasket and resurfaced the head. 7000 miles later, pxckkkk! The truck is hooked up, don't want to sell it. Any suggestions?

try here there are a lot of people there with your engine and have had the same problem, try doing a search for 3.0 headgasket, hope this helps

Put a 3.4 5VZ in it? If you want to keep the 3.0, the block and the head have to be resurfaced, use the factory service campaign gasket, and I think maybe even stronger head bolts, but I'm not sure. Yotatech is a good place to look. I tossed mine and am sticking in the 3.4L. Fair amount of work though.
