vibration in 4 wheel drive

When I put the truck into 4 wheel drive I am getting a driveline vibration above 20mph. It's not a steering wheel vibration, more in the driveline when I'm on the gas. Does anyone have a suggestion where I should start to look?

Thanks

Yes, I do have to lock the front hubs. How will I tell if the driveshaft is balanced.....weight on it?

I try that tonight. I haven't done anything with the truck, I just bought it last month. Where do I tighten the propeller shaft?

Thanks

there are 4 bolts on either end of the driveshafts(propeller shafts) one to the rear diff one out the transfercase to the front diff. If its the 3 joint type then there are 12 bolts and 2 grease jerts at each connection.

the propeller shafts could also be out of ballance how

or the problems in the book say

transmission extension housing rear bushing worn ( only in 4x4 so that probably not it

sleeve yoke spline is stuck.

propeller shaft run out. not sure what that means.

tightening and greasing the drive shafts are suposed to be done every oil change and is something few people do. 9 out of 10 times u just need to tighten and lube it.
