X-Runner

I was wondering what peoples opinions on the new X-Runner (coming in 2005) are?

It's not to bad. Body is REAL slick looking. I love the hood scoop. And the stock body kit is nice. The 240hp stock is a little dissapointing. But 300hp after factory supercharger is nice. And it can out handle a 350Z.

But what do you guys think?

I'm mainly a 4wd guy, but i don't like it, because its basically a small tundra, ive seen spy photos of the 4wd version, its just not for me, it seems like just about all of the auto makers are getting rid of the "mini-truck" market

I like it...imagine the new Sequoia based on that thing...

They would need an off road version though...that one looks like it's mainly for the road

Yeah, I'm wondering if they will come out with an off-road version. Some bigger fenders. I'm sure you could put a lift kit and an off-road set-up on it though.

How is 240HP dissapointing? go buy a U'haul if you want power...the stock 86' runner only has somthing like 85 HP. The toyota engines have come along way in HP since they first started production...The X-runner is too sporty looking, reminds me too much of the F-150 Harley Davidson editon truck

yeah, the supercharger takes care of that 240hp. I was just hoping for something a little bigger. But Toyota stands with its high fuel economy standards.

Did you check out the other shots of it on Toyota's website?

I like it. Where'd you pick that up? Is there any change in the specs on it?
