I was wondering about the locker in the taco's. If you push the locker button and its in 2WD will it engage or does it have to be in 4-low/high to engage? I've been wondering for awhile if any of you taco owners know. Also is it a good system? thanks

The locker will only engage while in 4Low and only under 5mph. However, once engaged, it will stay engaged above 5mph. There is an electrical modification you can do that will allow it to be engaged regardless of whether you're in 4low, 4hi, 2wd or at any speed. It's called the gray wire or blue wire mod, depending on your year.

The electric locker is one of the best systems out there, just as strong as an ARB.

electronic locker rocks...grey wire mod is super easy to do...if you can cut and strip a wire, then you're set....if you wanna know how to do it go to Customtacos.com and look in the Tech section for grey wire mod
