slow leak at top of radiator hose connec-help

I have an 92 extra cab 2.4L, w/ ac.

after driving I notice there is a slow leak between the hose and the top of radiator connection area.

I've tighten the hose clamp as tight as possible but it still leaks.

I do have an new thermostat and water pump (2 years ago)

Do I need a new radiator?

or is there another cheap way of fixing this.?

take the hose off, have a look at the fitting on the radiator, and at the interior of the hose

if the hose is cracked, replace it (probably it) but if the hose fitting is cracked you'll probably have to replace the radiator, you could try to seal it with jb weld or something, but its a temporary thing

oh yea, I did replace the hose with the thermastat.

yes, I think the connector is probably warped.

I'll try some of that stuff first, then if still leaks, I'll replace the radiator.

you could toss in a bottle of coolant stop leak stuff, but again, its a temporary fix

You say the connector is warped. I assume you mean the tube coming out of the radiator. You should be able to straighten it. A bit of Permatex on it before you put the hose on sometimes is enough to stop slow leaks. Sure is cheaper than another radiator.
Another thought--I have had better luck with stainless steel screw-type hose clamps than with factory clamps. If yours hasn't been changed, replacing it might help.

ok,

After trying new clamp, hose and some silicone seal.

it is now seeping/leaking slowing after running.

so, I've purchased a new radiator from radiatorbarn. Now I don't have to worry about it.
