I have the 3" revtek lift. I love it and my truck looks awesome. I also put Bilstein shocks all the way around and I have 33" BFG Mud terrains on 16x8 wheels. The truck looks awesome. Go with the Revtek if you don't plan on doing anything too crazy offroad.

or try the cornfed lift.... confedsuspensions.com I think that's the link....his spacers aren't made w/ plastic that can compress over time....I don't know how they compare price-wise but he's price-matching another spacer lift that's around $150

The revteks aren't plastic either. It's a very good spacer lift. You can either get blocks in the rear or you can do an add a leaf.

Why stay away from the blocks? I have blocks in the rear and the ride is smoother than it would be with the AAL. If he plans on doing a lot of off-roading or towing a boat or something, then the AAL is the way to go. But with 3" of lift, there is nothing wrong with getting blocks. The thing you do want to stay away from is body lifts.

it basically just comes down to what he wants to do w/ his truck...with me personally, I'd never run blocks or body lifts because of the kind of wheelin' I do....but I have friends who run body lifts w/ no problems...and some of them do some crazy stuff w/ their trucks...

blocks can contribute to axle wrap...he can get a long AAL and it won't be as rough a ride like the short AAL...or he can combine a shackle to either

but if he wasn't gonna offroad, then run blocks...just be sure to periodically check the u-bolts and make sure they're tight...to each their own

If your looking to fit 35's you're going to need over 6". Instead of getting small nickel and dime lifts, just keep saving and get a Fabtech. Big price tag, but from what I've heard, well worth it. If I could afford it, I'd be sporting one myself. If you absolutely need a small suspension lift now, talk to David at Cornfed Suspension . His kit's are very affordable and IMO the best <3" lift out there. Mine is on order right now.

It sounds like you guys use your trucks more like I do ~ weekend off-roading a bit, but still want a good on-road ride. I want to do a relatively small lift at about 2"-3" and still be able to tow a two horse slant without eating tires, messing with camber too much etc. The local 4x4 shop guy said it would be a mistake to do a lift and also tow, that it would eat tires etc. He recommended air bags in the rear (Firestone) and spacers up front to level off the front. He said that would give me about 1.5". Do you guys agree that a lift compromises towing ability and performance? I won't be towing all the time, but at most 2x a month to fairly local trailheads. Thanks for your ideas. t
