Tacoma S-Runner

Just took delivery on an '04 Tacoma S-Runner -- beautiful pearl black, with blackout everything. Five-speed V-6 really steps out; I love it. Nearly no one at the dealership had ever even heard of it before I found it on the Toyota website. It is what I was looking for, but I have a couple of questions. Where to get accessories (like mudflaps which complement this special model)? And since it rides rougher than I expected, I'd like to know if there are any quality shocks out there which might soften it up a bit, perhaps adjustables. Koni website was no help. Any references or advice would be appreciated from new subscriber to this list. FR

Still looking for some softer shocks, maybe adjustables? for my 2004 SRunner. Any ideas or experience? And where to find the ground effects add-ons which I wish I had opted for when I ordered it. Thanks, FR

Cool

I don't keep up with them but dude! LoL! You bought a truck that is capable of handling with a 350z. WTF did you expect ROTFLMAO!!!

Anyways, Customtacos.com is where all your s-runner buddies are.
Noone makes struts/springs/coilovers for them yet, other than for a drop, and I don't think you want that LoL!

Thanks for the replies. Since my other vehicle is a BMW (red 1990 convertible), I guess I'm spoiled. Shouldn't have to ride like a buckboard to handle like a Z. Wonder if there are any suspension geniuses out there with some ideas.

Yeah, I fell in love with the 2004 S runner before I saw the picture and read about the all new 2005, X runner. No regrets though; I prefer the smaller truck, several thousands less expensive too. FR
