Question doors off

I have a 2000 tacoma with power windows and door locks and i am wondering if there is a way i could cut the lines and attatch a connector so i could remove the doors. Im just wanting some feedback on if im bout to mess something up or if this should work. thanks.

From a tech standpoint, you can do basically anything you want, however if you do, there will more than likely be clearance issues w/ the wires and the doorframe and problems w/ water getting into the connections. If you do it though, I'm sure you could find ways around these problems w/ a lil' creativity. I'm assuming you wanna take them off for off roading (similar to jeeps)?
Good luck and post pics if you do, cause that may be something I'd like to try.
