Noob question (4 runner)

what are some things I need to look for when buying a used 4 runner?

are there any GOOD sites out there on this vehicle?

What gen are you looking for? A great gen 3 site is Gadget's 4 Runner . It has all sorts of different mods possible as well as links to a good 4 Runner webring. That should put you on the right track.

Like with most modded cars they can be a mixed blessing, if you like the way it was modded then you save time and moned if not...well its usually a bitch to change it. A 4Runners a great choise though. I ya drive em nice they are good for 250,000+ miles in most cases. Older ones anyway. 22R and stuff.
