need advice!!

I have a 1983 toyota 4*4 shrotbox and I am rebuilding it. it is striped down to the frame and the engine, but I wanna take the 4 cyl out and put in a 350 stroked but I still want good fuel millage but lots of hp what should I do???????

swap in a chevy V6, great power and good gas milage too. You could use your transfer case and your transmission as well or just the transfer case. Get the 97+ vortec if you can, but any 4.3 will work. The 4.3 is a 350 without 2 cyllinders. all you'll need are some motor mounts.

Why not a Toyota V6 More power, better mileage and alot more reliable. Since your gonna be doing a swap why not a 4.0 V8(1UZFE/vvti) from Lexus same V8 thats on a Tundra. Your gonna love the Horse power and torque of this motor. Quad cam 32 valves per cylinder 300HP/315 torque stock. What more would you want. TRD supercharger?
