91 truck oil leak

I have a 91 pickup 4wd V6 engine with a bad oil leak from the front seal area. I am guessing it is the seal and looking for advice on changing the seal. Can I get the seal out by prying with a screw driver?

Also thinking of drilling the seal and inserting a sheet metal screw to pull on or maybe I have to buy a slide hammar.

Can I install the seal using a appropriate size sccket and tapping wioth a hammar ( my usual method of seal installation)

Can the oil leak be from somewhere else (commonly)

either method should work man, it's gonna take paitence though, kind of a tough place to get to. check the crank for scoring, you may need to speedy sleeve it
