Will an '86 and new Power Steering Box fit an '84 manual steering 4X4 with a stock solid axle?

no , not with out "hi-steer" .

It will but the amount of histeer will drive you crazy, try looking at some sites for parts for older vehicles or try to get something fabricated. TRY www.power-steering.us or like jc whiney etc.

No it won't fit. the basic reason why is the arm on the 1984 steering box swings forward and backward. The arm on the 1986 and later boxes swing left to right.
